Villa SEASIDE

Loved the location and how Giuseppe was waiting on us.

The amalfi coast town are all on a cliff. Most areas are only accessible by feet. Too many stairs that are steep that you need to use to get to and from the property. With or without Luggage it was hard to get to and from. You need to be fit .

The location was spectacular, high above the marina. The deck view was stunning and the deck provided a wonderful place to enjoy our time when at the villa.

The inside of the villa was quirky - uncomfortable beds, black moldy grout on the tiled countertop in kitchen, somewhat cluttered. No trash bags were left for us even though there is a very specific recycling system in Amalfi. There was no corkscrew in the villa. We would highly recommend that the owner leave information in the villa about the area or be available to answer questions from her guests. The villa is located high above the marina with no access by car. It would have been helpful to have information about how best to access the water using the hidden stone staircases and ramps without having to walk on the very busy, narrow main road, information about the many different bus lines that run through the area, local cabs, grocery stores nearby, restaurants, etc. Our trip was very well planned but the Amalfi Coast provided challenges that we didn’t anticipate. We were able to figure things out on our own but we lost lots of time and opportunities to do some of the things that we had looked forward to. It could be as easy as a book with information for guests.

The views are amazing! The house was spacious and kitchen had all essentials. The views alone were worth staying here.

air conditioner in one of the bedrooms didn't work. More instructions would be nice - on day to day such as how to use washing machine, how to use hot tub, trash pickup, etc. Dish towels are really needed in kitchen!

The view is absolutely amazing. The place itself is fit with everything you need. The balcony and the hot tub we’re so great too!

The check in process wasn’t good. We didn’t have any clear info on how to get there and spent a good few hours trying to get in.

The location was great. The apartment was spacious, homely and fully furnished with even seasonings and oils for cooking. The view from the balcony was so beautiful and serene. Great place to go and relax. Restaurant and supermarket within walking distance.

If you are unable to walk, this is not the place for you. There are a lot of stairs to climb. A lot of walking. The description of the distances from points of interest seem close but the are indeed a distance away because they are vertical.

Beautiful view. Easy to walk to beach, market, restaurants. Good size for 2 couples with ample outdoor patio space to enjoy the views.

Beds were not especially comfortable.

the view was amazing! can’t be beat. you could see the cove with the boats, the ocean, mountains and other villas.

there were a LOT of very steep steps to get there. it was a trek to go anywhere from there. we needed a porter to help with the bags as it was pretty intense. 15 euros for each bag each way, but we had to. Also there were not enough towels and no extra anywhere. There was mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms and paint chipping on the ceiling at the sliding door going out to the patio. The front door also needs repair as a plastic weather stripping had fallen off so it was scratching the floor when opening and closing.

The outlook is amazing, good area for sitting. Washing machine wasn’t working, however owner let us use the machine in another property. Also owner set up hot-tub for us even though it wasn’t due to be turned on. It was good having the hot-tub to sit in. Apartment is a good size and located in a quiet area.

Property needs some TLC, as loads of weeds and quite dated. It could benefit from being modernised and lacked basic kitchen essentials such as a cork-screw. The property is around 10 minutes walk from bus stop, shop and restaurant. There is not much nearby. There are a lot of stairs to manoeuvre, therefore some people may find it difficult leaving the apartment. If you are a sun worshiper, the sun is gone from the terrace hours before it is dark.
