Natur Amêndoa

The views are spectacular and the property sympathetically converted to a very high standard. Breakfast was good but repetative. We loved the dogs but not the dog mess at the entrance which needed clearing up. The heating system was efficent although it didn't warm the bathroom or dry damp towels. The very small bottle of wine supplied with dinner was excellent.

Fixed meal times - 9am, 8.30 pm. No choice for dinner which was left on a table in a locked room for us to help ourselves. At no point were we asked about preferences or allergies and there was no information on what was served or indeed anyone to ask as we were messaged by phone when it was ready. Dinner both evenings comprised a casserole/stew wrapped in a teatowel to keep hot. It was not hot, only barely warm and in any event on the first evening due to the nature of the casserole and overdressed salad one guest had to make do with almonds, dry bread and a Sharon fruit The second evening had no fresh ingredients at all and included a tin of sardine pate which was impossible to open (the ring broke off) and two supermarket bought coffee mousses containing palm oil. There was no shower gel or shampoo, a piece of soap smaller than a matchbox, no spare pillows or loo roll, a concrete headboard, no reading lights and no room TV only a shared one in the dining room/ lounge area. Our room was not serviced so no clean towels, made bed or emptied bins. This could be such a fabulous place but it was just a disappointment from start to finish. We were the only guests which might explain our experience especially in relation to dinner but it does appear that this is a location where guests are expected to sit together at a single table to eat. If you prefer each others company and not the forced company of strangers this would not be for you anyway.

O pequeno almoço foi divinal nos dois dias, variado e tudo fresquinho e acabado de preparar. A localização é excepcional, tem uma vista maravilhosa para a serra, não estava á espera de ser um local tão lindo. Uma piscina à beira do precipício com água maravilhosa.

Nada a apontar

Las vistas desde la cama; se ve la montaña. El desayuno está muy bien . La amabilidad de los dueños.

Eché de menos una TV. en la habitación. Faltaba gel de baño, aunque había jabón de manos. Sobran cachivaches en el acceso a la habitación. El precio está muy por encima de lo justo.

De omgeving, vertrouwen en welkoms gevoel, de warmte door de houtkachel, het heerlijke ontbijt. Alles was aanwezig om er een heerlijke vrije wandelvakantie te hebben.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely evening meal catering for vegetarians. Comfortable rooms. Friendly hosts.
