NZThis was a great stay. We had the whole second and third floor to ourselves above a cool outdoor gear shop. The room was spacious. There was a kitchen and bath/shower. The friendly host is a hiker and runs the outdoor gear shop with high end gear. The location was convenient and walking distance from the train station. There's a shrine close by.
It was winter in February and the room was pretty cold despite the wall heater so extra blankets would have been good.

USUSLocated above an outdoor equipment shop. Place is ideal if you’re backpacking or traveling by bike. Lots of space to lay out and organize your gear. There’s a kitchenette and Family Mart is very near. You do have to walk up three levels and no elevator so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue.
