Fare Mirimiri

- Emplacement exceptionnel avec vue magnifique, notamment pour le coucher de soleil. - 3 chambres confortables (2 salles de bain) - Terrasse très agréable - Douche extérieure pratique (et avec vue !) - Hôte très sympathique

Manque quelques équipements de cuisine (ex: grandes poêles et casseroles) si on est nombreux et qu’on souhaite beaucoup cuisiner.

Cathy et Ralph sont chaleureux et dans le partage et encore merci pour ces beaux moments d'échange. De très bons souvenirs à jamais dans cette location qui est très bien située : une belle vue sur Bora Bora et des couchés de soleil à couper le souffle. On a même eu la chance de voir des marsouins faire des cabrioles dans la passe de Miri Miri. Nous avons aussi profité du tour que propose Cathy pour connaître plus en profondeur cette belle île qu'est Raiatea.

Nous avons été accueillis par des hôtes formidables qui aiment partager leurs expériences de vie et leur histoire. Cathy nous a expliqué toutes les commodités ainsi que la culture historique de l'île. Ralph a eu une vie très riche. Nous avons beaucoup aimé discuter avec lui. Tout a été fait pour nous assurer un séjour agréable. Nous avons toujours pu compter sur Ralph et Cathy pour nos différents besoins. Aussi, Cathy connaît tout le monde sur l'île. Nous avons bénéficié de son aide pour les excursions, déplacements et location de voiture. Un immense merci à Cathy et Ralph que nous reverrons avec plaisir.

Rien ne nous a déplu au cour de notre séjour chez Ralph et Cathy. Il faut juste savoir que la pente est raide pour accéder à la maison et qu'il faut donc être pleinement valide.

"A Perfect Stay at Fare Mirimiri!" We had a wonderful stay at Fare Mirimiri. Perched on a hillside with breathtaking views, this guesthouse offers the perfect setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Raiatea. We arrived at the Apooiti Marina in Raiatea after a week of sailing, we were of course expecting to wait a few minutes, but Cathy, the owner, was already there to meet us. From the moment we got in the car, she made us feel very welcome. When we arrived at the guesthouse, we felt like we were in paradise. The house, surrounded by nature, is tucked away on a hill with breathtaking views. Every room offers a spectacular view. Cathy was simply amazing. Her kindness and generosity made our stay truly special. We arrived just before sunset, and I thought it would be nice to have an apero on the balcony and enjoy the view, but of course, we didn’t have anything to drink. I asked Cathy if we could perhaps buy a beer from her, but she didn’t think she had any. BUT a few minutes later she came back and gave us two beers. This is what I mean by generosity! The house was spotless and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful place with a welcoming atmosphere and stunning scenery, Fare Mirimiri is the ideal spot. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Awesome View

The house is very neglected

The view from the front porch is magnificent and is where where you want to be all the time! Cathy and Ralph are wonderful hosts and make you feel like part of the family. They know everyone on the island and are incredibly helpful in getting things done - like groceries, transportation or other bookings. Cathy helped us arrange personalized transportation for an incredible dive experience with HemisphereSub Raiatea (highly recommended!). Cathy also runs a tour business so consider that as an add-on if you really want to get to know the island and island culture. Ralph, her husband, is a former pearl farmer so you can also tap into their expertise there!

Taxi access is a challenge if Cathy or Ralph aren't available due to the challenging driveway. If you plan on hiring a car, check with Cathy and consider high clearance, 4WD as it's pretty steep and potentially slick. Ralph was incredibly helpful with our luggage as we were carrying a lot. Also, realize there isn't air conditioning, but the mountain breeze is lovely.
