Residence Hotel Borrowdale

Bed was comfy breakfast was lovely. That kid Tinashe deserves a pay rise 😏.

*smelly fridge due to it being off. Turned it on upon arrival. * room set up (though unique) is a nightmare!! Toilet n shower are downstairs. If you have kids you in for a rough ride. A very unpractical setup for a hotel *bulk head on the stairs is VERY low. I bumped my head twice as I climbed the stairs. I wonder what the architect thought they were doing. *Water pressure was a joke. A mere trickle was what one had to shower with. Shower head way to high to attempt to change the water setting (not that it would help anyway) *no remote for the satellite so had to keep getting up to change the channels on the actual decoder🙄 *lastly...it was SO expensive. This hotel is not value for money. Having said ALLLL of this,I'd probably go back though.

Central and easy to get to.

Seems they organise events, that can be noisy, in the evenings.

Had a comfortable stay and very close to all surrounding areas.

The tap in the basin - there are no pressure for water - could improve. The toilet seat slips around so that is not the toilet seat for that specific toilet.

Clean and accommodating

The staff was helpful, it felt very safe and secure, and morning breakfast was good.

Found USED CONDOMS in my room, power was constantly out when I woke up until 9pm (Air Conditioner), due to keeping windows open found a big spider and nature creeping in.
