It was brightly coloured, nice and cosy and clean. Although small (all apartments in Japan are), it had everything that we needed for a family of three. The area is nice and it was great to have the car parked outside.

The parking situation could be made much clearer. The website states that free parking is available. But when I enquired where the parking was (as the space in front of the apartment looks too small to park a car) the host told me that parking is in fact subject to reservation, and they "already mentioned this". Well, they didn't mention it to me! Actually, if you look on the booking.com website, buried amongst the fine print, it does actually discreetly state that parking needs to be requested from the host, and this is subject to reservation. So be aware of this if you need a parking space. The reserving of the parking space was also a strange process. The host could not confirm the reservation immediately as I made the request on a weekend, and they can only get back to me during the week. Strange, who are they reserving the parking space in front of their unit from? Do they not own it? Or is their parking in fact in another place nearby? They also needed to know the model and colour of our vehicle, and also its licence plate number. With our car being a rental car, there is no way we can know that before we pick the car up. That being the case, I wasn't sure if my inability to provide these details immediately meant that I did not have a space reserved. I promised to tell the host these details immediately after picking up our rental car from the airport. When I did so, there was radio silence from the host. I was expecting them to provide me with a GPS location of the parking space; I still didn't know for certain where the parking space was, as I suspected the space was / spaces were nearby in a dedicated lot. So I decided I was just going to park in that spot in front of the unit – even if there are bicycles there in the driveway (which there are in the brochure they sent me; a brochure that contained no info about parking!). In the end, that did actually turn out to be the parking space.

L’host si è dimostrato estremamente disponibile e professionale, seguendoci con grande gentilezza durante tutto il soggiorno e fornendoci un prezioso supporto anche per la spedizione dei bagagli. Converience to nearby mart, good WiFi connection, very clean and spacious for family.

Location is great. House was clean. Homeowners were friendly over chat. Good electrical and bathroom facilities.

Security of building is poor, front door left unlocked during day by workers and people. No deadbolt on room door. Cannot safely store luggage prior to check in as front door was often left unlocked. Bed is poor, one matress was sunken on one side. Upstairs rooms are loud and plumbing is very audible in the walls during the night, difficult to sleep.

We had an enjoyable stay. The place was very clean and no issues with the room at all. Kitchen included, good location - short walk to train station, restaurants and family marts. The staff were super nice and accommodating. They were patient when we had some problems we wanted to sort out and were always lovely and easy to communicate to!
