Parking

The apartment is exactly as in the photos and has more than a regular rented apartment - in addition to basic amenities, it had a sandwich maker, a set of kitchen towels and sponges, hygienic products in the bathroom, a steam iron, and even a safe box. The views from the balcony shared between the main room and kitchen are perfect: beautiful Mediterranean houses with red-tiled roofs, the sea, mountains, and palms. The bed in the bedroom is very soft. Every window has shutters, which allows guests to sleep in a private and shaded atmosphere. The host was very friendly and hospitable, the welcoming fruits, wine and treats were a very pleasant surprise. The host always responded quickly and allowed me to leave my luggage after the checkout for several hours. The town of Volosco is quiet, very picturesque and authentic, with a small beach 5-7 minutes walk from the apartment down the stairs, and a beautiful little harbour to be admired from one of the cozy restaurants in the square in front of it. For more crowded and humming experiences (market, happenings, hi-end restaurants), one can go to Opatija (5 minutes by bus) or to Rijeka (45 minutes by bus). A market in Opatija offers the freshest local seafood and farmers' products. A small grocery shop Konzum working until 1 PM is 3-5 minutes walk from the apartment, a large grocery store Plodine operating till 10 PM is 10 minutes up the hill.
