Peaceful Home

Meals are not part of this rental. However, you do have almost unlimited access to the large kitchen that house owner and residents share. Wi-Fi worked well. Host was very accommodating about parking, bicycle, etc., and friendly and sociable at all times. It was quiet and looks like a very safe neighborhood.

The room arranged for my stay has multiple uses, of which short rentals is just one. It is luxuriously renovated (e.g., 2 bathroom sinks, 3 different shower modes, take your pick, or use all) but owner might be a new host and unaware that renters will be expecting a top sheet as part of normal cleanliness. Not finding one on the bed is disconcerting to the average Texan visitor. Closet was accessible but no space was set aside for visitor use. Television should be prepared (connected and programmed) to provide at least 1 mode of operation, otherwise it should be disabled so as not to waste visitors' time. Room size was ample, but other than a foot-of-the-bed bench, there was essentially no furniture. A very small table was supplied on request, but clothing hooks, a dresser or shelves, and at least one chair would make a short rental much more livable and welcoming.

It was like having a quiet room in a house of like 3 rooms. No noise. The house is neat and clean. The bathroom was clean. The agent was respectful and cordial. He made sure there were no issues. The bathroom was clean had clean towels.

Nothing really. It's just like renting a room in an average house. So, nothing much is expected. The neighborhood is a bit crowded with cares, but again it was the weekend, everyone was home. It just felt like you are at home not a hotel. It's a home anyway.

One point, I could add…place no slip strips or non-slip pad onto the shower/tub floor. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
