De locatie was perfect!

Location of this place is perfect. A few steps away from the metro station and just opposite Sao Bento Train station. If you have booked a tour, the tourist service is a few steps away. Main door is away from Main Street, easy to locate. No elevator but short flight of stairs up to level 1. Home facilities are sufficient, comfortable and nice place, Wi-Fi is strong. Restaurants and cafe are just downstairs. Easy check in and out. Recommend.

The toilet and shower is compact, hard to manoeuvre (see photo). Not suitable if you need space. As the location is so accessible, do expect noises from traffic and restaurants. You can close the windows, it can get warm during summer but there is a electric ventilator available. I left the window open and a mosquito flew in and we had a good battle. The pillows are too flat.

The location in terms of easy access to everything was extremely good

The studio situated on the first floor was fine the down side being that windows faced onto both an active night life street and a main thoroughfare - all would have been fine had the double glazing been sufficiently efficient to block the noise - in June with the windows closed earplugs were effective - in summer and without air-conditioning it would be impossible to sleep with windows open - Kitchen facilities were more than adequate - the shower on the other hand was a disaster - so small that one was constantly burning one's behind on the hot water inlet when trying to manouevre one's body under the shower head..
