"Superb"

Cute little house near the centre. Very convenient and Vito and his dog were really welcoming but respect your privacy.

Nothing but you might not want to stay here if you are allergic to dogs as the owner has one.

"A cozy and welcoming room in Castel Gandolfo with a helpful host"

Wow, Vito was such a welcoming and kind host! He was communicative via WhatsApp and provided directions on how to reach Castel Gandolfo from the CIA airport. He met me at the stop and walked us to La Maisonette. (Note, if you bus, the pick up spot for Cotral—the bus operator—is about a five minute walk offsite the Ciampino airport). Vito also provides a shuttle service and, when a strike was on public transport, he was able to drive me into Rome. He helped orient me and provided tea and coffee. So nice. He speaks English and French and perhaps other languages. Plus, the shower was powerful—a venerable hot torrent of water. From the house, you can walk on calm streets to the lake, if you don't mind walking back up the hill at the end. Grazie mille, Vito!

"Neutral because the room was only used for sleeping."

The location is good. Surroundings were wonderful. The owner offers more extras such as transfer and meals for extra fee.

Not everything included in the description is easily accesable. Everything was shared with the owner. The owner lives in the same apartment.
