The condition of the bed in my room was bad , there was no foam or latex and can feel the innerspring of the mattress.

Pay for Rm700, without breakfast, the luggage have to carry by own and need to climb up to second floor with very high staircase, for kids is quite dangerous. Room very big but with only one aircond, feel very hot. And the fan speed cannot be changed, speed is quite fast until the sound very noisy and disturbing us when sleep. If close the fan and just with aircond, totally cannot tahan , sweat alot. Room not clean at all, everywhere dust alot. Pay for Rm700 with no tooth brush and tooth paste supply, the bathtub with many dirty mark. Totally not kids friendly stay, cause the shower only on top and with hand holding shower，for kids usually they dont like direct shower from top.
AUTo be fair, the staff did try to address some of the issues. In particular, they were kind enough to offer to move us to a different room when the rat came in during the night, but by this time we didn't want any more inconvenience.
I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, but I am sad to say that Sentosa Villa disappointed us in so many ways. Of five hotels we stayed in in Malaysia this was the most expensive, but also by far the worst accommodation. We had a “Deluxe King Room” for 3 nights at just over A$140 per night, without breakfast. The room was basically a sparsely furnished concrete box with floor tiles and an ensuite. The sofa was a hard 2 seater without a proper back and appeared to be missing any cushions. The wardrobe consisted of a wooden rail hanging by rope from the ceiling and the bedside tables were cheap metal frames with metal trays on top. LIghting consisted of bare light bulbs in the ceiling without shades There were no bedside reading lamps. On the second night we were woken by a scurrying sound which we discovered was a rat which came in under the front door and had started to devour some fruit we had brought for our breakfast (photo attached). After chasing it out, we kept the rat out by rolling up the bath mat and stuffing it under the door. The bathroom was basic. The sink had only a cold tap and no hot tap. Each time the toilet was flushed water leaked out the top of the cistern leaving an inconvenient puddle on the floor. There was no shower curtain or screen, which meant that the bathroom was awash with water after having a shower. The towel rail was not properly attached to the wall. Toiletries provided on the first night consisted of one inadequately small piece of soap, a shower cap and no shampoo (photo attached), though we were provided with a tube of shampoo on the second day after asking for it at the front desk. The WiFi does not work from the room, only from the adjoining building. This is not practical in a climate where it rains heavily every evening without fail and there is no sheltered path to the other building. Incidentally, we needed the WiFi for planning our trip, not for entertainment.

SGThe hotel has rather low maintenance quality. My bath room floor is slippery during and after shower. The bathroom drainage is 85% choked and flows very slowly. Standing in a pool of water when bathing and without shower curtain. Facilities inside the room is poor, not even with a proper chair for sitting down and work. The table is small and not meant for any kind of work, just for a few loose items. I guess the idea is not to stay in the room but to go outdoor which is rather pleasant. Do watch out there is no lift and you need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs.
Poor facilities in the room and unsafe bathroom. slippery and without shower curtain. Drainage of bathroom does not appear to be properly maintained.
