Villa KAROUNA

Villa Karouna is astonishing! It felt like a retreat in the most beautiful setting. Clearly owned by an artist, with every detail thought through, this is a very special place. The one concern we had was lack of privacy, but we needn't have worried as the wonderful Tika came and cooked us breakfast every morning, always with a smile - we were so well looked after. WiFi was great, the pool was amazing, grab deliveries were easy when we don't want to leave the haven of the villa. Perfectly perfect, thank you.

De wifi was niet beschikbaar. De beheerster heeft er naar laten kijken. De nieuwe eigenaar had hier al eerder actie op kunnen nemen.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 days at Villa Karouna. The booking process was easy, the owner was helpful and responsive. The wonderful Tika, house keeper was on site to welcome us with a delicious cool drink and show us around. This was so very welcome after the crazy drive from the airport to Ubud. Everything about the villa and it's gardens are exquisite. The decor is authentically Balinese and so tastefully decorated. We loved relaxing on the sofas and making use of the well equipped kitchen. The infinity pool over looking the meadow and rice fields was a good size, clean and refreshing. Watching the swallows swoop over the pool to take a drink and the fire flies light up the dusk sky is a memory we'll treasure. There are three bedrooms, though we only used one. The bed was big, super comfy and the huge outdoor bathroom and shower was spotlessly clean with plentiful hot water. We especially enjoyed Tika's wonderful breakfasts and the delicious balinese meal she cooked for us after a day's sight seeing was another wonderful experience. We also enjoyed a very relaxing balinese massage at the villa. I can't recommend this wonderful villa enough and the great value for money it represents. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook. This retreat is a little piece of heavenly Bali.

Ibu Tika lässt keine Wünsche unerfüllt. Wir haben uns sehr Zuhause gefühlt.

Incredible views over the rice fields. Very large with plenty of lounging space, big kitchen, lots of seating. Amazing housekeeper and cook. Lots of personal Bali style touches that take this villa to the next level. We stayed at several villas across Bali in this price range or higher and this was our favorite. Just close enough to Ubud, the zoo, waterfalls, rice fields etc. Oh! And covered parking for a car or multiple motorbikes. Highly recommend!

There is no AC, but it didn't bother us as much as we thought it might. The large and deep pool was great and it cools off in the evenings so we didn't miss it.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Die Hausdame war sehr nett und hat uns jeden Morgen ein Frühstück zubereitet und bei der Mietung beim Roller geholfen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

La Villa Karouna est tout simplement magnifique, isolée comme nous le souhaitions mais à 15/20 mn en taxi de Ubud, un jardin luxuriant et très bien entretenu, la décoration est soignée et bien choisie, la piscine avec sa vue sur les rizières est un havre de paix. Tika est l’âme de cette maison, excellente cuisinière, elle pourra vous préparer les dîners si vous le souhaitez, une personne adorable et très attachante, elle est notre coup de cœur ❤️

Alles perfekt, wie beschrieben…. Lage etwas abschüssig, dennoch toll für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Besonders die Haushälterin TIKA war perfekt und hat sich um alles gekümmert 👌

Ohne Fahrzeug Restautants etc. kaum zu erreichen, aber mit Grab oder Roller alles gut

Die Villa ein Traum, wer Ruhe und Idylle mag, ist hier genau richtig. Tika, quasi das Personal vor Ort, außergewöhnlich👌👌

Tatsächlich etwas abgelegen, aber via Grab oder mit dem Roller alles erreichbar.
