"Truly authentic South African hospitality"

We had a wonderful stay at Lili Ellipsis. Nico (and Lilly) were incredibly warm and welcoming, and Nico’s homemade melktert was such a special touch. Truly authentic South African hospitality in a peaceful and beautiful setting. We would happily return!

"It was a home away from home."

The warm welcome and the little touches that Nico provided eg chocolate on the beds and small treats for our dog Bella. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel.

Location was exactly what we needed. My wife and I could not have asked for a better place to stay for the price point. There were many little things the host Nico added. The chocolate on every pillow, coffee, tea, milk and sugar was supplied, which was unexpected. And we found a milk tart in the fridge as a welcome gift. We will most definitely be back.

I did mention a door stop to the main bedroom is needed. The door bangs into the wall if opened too fast. Nico said he would get it sorted. It's not really a negative thing, just something that needs to be added.

The décor was completely my style and made the space feel so welcoming and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay, and the location was ideal - just a short walk to the beach, where we spent most of our time. Nico was such a wonderful host: friendly, helpful, and genuinely inviting, which really made us feel at home. It was the perfect getaway, and we’ll definitely be back again soon!
