Tilapia Lodge

Nice place at the shore of Nile river opposite Entebbe. Clean rooms, good beds, delicious breakfast and dinner too. Cozy restaurant and chill out lounge. Breakfast terrace at the river, boat service available.

The female owner was a bit over motivated in contrast to the relaxing place.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was very welcoming. The lakeside location is lovely, with many birds around, which makes the setting especially peaceful and enjoyable.

The breakfast was decent but could be improved, especially the coffee which was undrinkable. The location is not ideal if you need to travel back and forth to Entebbe, especially at night, as you have to wait for the boat at the ferry station in near-complete darkness. We were also surprised to learn on our last day that the boat trips to Entebbe are charged to guests, as this was never communicated to us beforehand.

The lodges were very clean, and the bedding was of good quality. The meals were good, and the staff were attentive to guests' needs. The location is perfect for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and those looking for a peaceful spot before or after a safari.

The WIFI and the electrical network was sometimes instable (which can complicate the verification of flights). We had a few hours without water in the bathroom but in the end, everything always falls back into place.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, we were made to feel like family. They arranged a shoebill tour and a ride over to Entebbe and a taxi waiting for us. The highlight was having drinks by a fire listening to the frogs and watching the fireflies. It’s a pretty special place

We waren verrast door de leuke ligging, steiger waar we heerlijk hebben gezeten de schommelbank en de vuurplaats. Ons huisje was echt heerlijk ruim met een bank binnen en op ons terras. Ons bed was heerlijk en groot. De douche lekker warm.

Het hotel is gelegen in de aanvlieg-route van de luchthaven waar door je wat last kan hebben van geluid voor ons viel het overlast mee. (We hadden meer last van de haan van de buren)

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. At night, you can hear all the wildlife around you, which adds to the unique experience. During the day, the area is full of fascinating birds—perfect for nature lovers. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable. And the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway.

I liked the customer care ohhh Lord Maria is amazing and the food is amazing too and the place itself the silent nature and peace it breeds is everything I was looking forward to.
