Ottimo appartamento luminoso, dotato di una buona quantità di utensili per poter cucinare, a pochi minuti dal centro e vicinissimo alla spiaggia libera. L'appartamento è situato in una zona tranquilla, lontano da traffico e rumori. Il letto, per come sono abituato io, l'ho trovato un po' morbido, ma nonostante ciò ho riposato benissimo. Abbiamo trovato 3 giorni torridi, ma grazie alla comodissima aria condizionata siamo riusciti a rinfrescare tutte le stanze, anche tenendo la ventilazione al minimo. Un super-grazie ai proprietari gentilissimi che ci sono venuti incontro per risolvere una nostra esigenza particolare.

The location of the apartment is very good in Lido. Its 12 minutes walk to boat station and also approximately 10 minutes walk to the public beach. The apartment is kept clean and had all the necessary amenities available.

The apartment was on 2nd floor and there was no lift in the building, so if you have heavy luggage, it would be difficult to get to the apartment.

Quiet place

We were staying for 3 nights. The water temperature and flow in the shower was uncontrollable: went from extremely hot to extremely cold. Very stressful and time-consuming. When we complained for the first time the fist day, the owner came and said that there is no problem and that the problem are us. When she came she also saw that i took a clean bed sheet and was very angry (i was supposed to sleep on a dirty one). The second time when we complained, the owner just cancelled our staying. We (with our child) were in the queue to San Marco when we were informed we have to immediately leave the appartment because we complained and our staying was cancelled (the dates were changed from April 18-21 to April 18-19 without our concent and when everything was already paid, almost two months in advance). There actually are reviews from november 2024 and before, reporting the same issue with the shower. The biggest surprise is Booking that let the owner cancel our staying without our concent and when we are already there.

We loved Lido and I still think about being there. You arrive by boat from the airport or the train station by boat, and it is across from the city of Venice and you then can wheel your luggage to your room, or of course take a taxi. Buy a 3 day pass which allows you to go on all the boats and get across to Venice as often as you want and it is the best deal right from the boat landing in Lido. A great boat ride too and you can bring your luggage. It is the only island with a beach and only one was open this time of the year but it has a bar, and many beautiful shells and you can walk from your room to this pretty beach. The room has a kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and clothes lines to hang your clothes. it is quiet and you can walk everywhere into the nice town. It is upstairs but we thought easy to manuver and a lockable gate to get insidel Lido is a wonderful town with good restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, bars, a gelatio shop, markets, outside patios, and beautfiul views of the sea. It is a lot less crowded than Venice which was packed but worth seeing of course, but Lido is a place where you can get away from many crowds and yet still get across to Venice on boats, ferries, and even a boat taxi. There are canals in Lidos also there where people can park their boats if you live there. The sunset view the first night near the pier was amazing too. The unit does not provide breakfast but they have coffee, water, and other essentials. Enjoy!

You need to make sure the owner who does not live there shows you how to use the internet, and turn on the heaters as she met us to let us in and showed us around, but we had a bit of trouble knowing how to use those and she lives in Venice and then she came back over and was able to help us out.

Amazing stay! The apartment is bigger than it looks in the photos. Really clean, it has everything you need (AC, very good wifi, washing machine, fridge, toaster, pots&pans). Cute balcony with a nice view. Quiet and peaceful area. Very close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants and ferry station. The hostess is really friendly and helpful.

Good value, clean, quiet location

The apartment was sparkling clean, it is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The interior design was amazing, one can see the Murrano glass works in display. The bedroom had a small balcony. Situated in the island of Lido, which is accessible by the public water transport boats. Beach is walkable from this place. The sunset was beautiful. There are 2 supermarkets nearby. The apartment was comfortable and very clean. The hostess met us on time to give the keys. There were pans n plates for cooking. Felt at home. Away from the rush of touristy Venice, yet such a close and calm residential area with its own canals.

The hot water pipes have a mind of its own 😄 but it was alright, gave more time to shower.

Cozy bright apartment in excellent condition. Good location and wonderful hosts. I sincerely recommend.
