Location wasn't bad but to find the place is a bit hard. The owner named "Lucky" was great person that i've ever met. He is thinking of the comfort of guests. He is not only good-welcoming person also he is really taking care of his guests. Cosy place and very quiet. He also helps for the surf equipment and more about surf.

I saw 2/3 different kind of bugs that i've never seen before inside on the room. Also bed suits were completely dirty and smelling another persons skin smell obviously. You can find much more great and new-equipmented surf places in the seaside beside of his recommended.

Amazing staff, Kingarden is a really welcoming and gentle and does the best breakfast bowls! Location is great, just a few minutes away from the beach. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

there were nice

i struggled to find it , i called him so he can give the directions to my tuktuk but gave the wrong homestay. he came pick me up, then he gave me anothr bedroom than the one i initially booked. i went to eat and i came back around 22pm and the fence was locked and no one was answering, i had to go to another hostel where my friend was staying, he answered 1h later + i would not have slept there i didnt feel safe at all. the next morning i come back to take a shower and i saw someone in my shower, i ask the receptionist and he tells me it’s a shared bathroom whereas i asked for a pvte one, so i paid less.

I had a big room with a very comfortable bed. The Suninn is located perfectly in equal 5min walking distance to the beach, city center and railway station. The compound is chill and shady to hang around. The owner and his staff are very nice folks, and were forthcoming, and helpful in every way.

Lucky is an amazing host. The food platter for breakfast was incredible!

The rooms are very basic. We knew that when booking this budget-friendly place :) lots of other backpacker-type groups.

Amazing little homestay in Weligama. Room was spacious and clean, location was perfect with a 5 minute walk to the beach so great for surfers! The owner is one of the nicest people we have met in Sri Lanka, he speaks great English and is a really nice guy. Free breakfast which was very nice, a huge fruit platter every morning as well as eggs and toast. 100% recommend this place to anyone. Great value for money.

The only suggestion we had was to add mosquito nets as we did get bitten in the evenings.
