Wir gäben liebend gerne mehr als die möglichen 10 Punkte, um die Gesamtwertung von momentan 9.8 auf die verdiente 10 zu katapultieren :-) Die freundliche Begrüssung durch das Gastgeberpaar haben wir beim Check-in sehr geschätzt. Dass sie sich immer mal wieder für einen Schwatz Zeit genommen und uns einen tollen Einblick ins isländische Leben gegeben haben hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefreut. Das Tiny House war definitiv die beste und aussergewöhnlichste Unterkunft auf unserer Island-Reise und man merkt, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail die Hengifosslodge geführt wird. Es gibt wohl nichts schöneres, als am Morgen auf dem Sofa neben einem gemütlichen Kaminfeuer dank toller Aussicht Island beim Erwachen zuzuschauen.

Es gab absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

Friendly owner-operators. Very welcoming. Beautiful and comfortable cabin. Spotlessly clean. Quiet and remote location. We had a great little hike on their private trail up the mountain. One of our favorite stays in Iceland.

"Outstanding stay"

We made a round trip and this accommodation was by far the best (also the other ones were good). It is like in the pictures, you feel at home or like you can easily stay for far longer. Also, the snowstorm doesn't limit the experience, we enjoyed staying in the tiny house just relaxing. This is a style of house I would personally build for myself if I could (just a bit bigger). In case we come back to Iceland, this one is what we would book first and arrange every other plan around it. Thanks so much for your hospitality and sharing your dream of Iceland.

Einfach alles, das kleine Häuschen, die Aussicht, die Ausstattung. Man sieht an allem wie durchdacht das Tiny House ist und dass es mit Herzen geführt wird. Super sauber und alles da was man braucht!! Die Gastgeber sind auch unglaublich nett und wir können uns nur nochmal für den guten Tipp mit den Reifen bei Schnee und Eis bedanken!!
