The location was very good - only a few minutes' walk to the front, shops, restaurants etc. Parking was a very useful and probably a necessity for anyone with a car.

The flat was dark and a little depressing. The shutters mostly had to be kept closed as all windows looked straight onto the road, so the lights were on much of the time in the day. Opening the window in the living room meant cooking smells and cigarette smoke from the cafe immediately below came into the room. The flat is very dated, although spacious. The kitchen had far too much crockery in it - there was no larder space at all as there are literally dozens of plates, cups, mugs, glasses, etc. The shower head had to be held in place with one hand as it didn't stay there on its own.
