Die Lage ist phänomenal, das erste bedeutende Museum ist keine 50 Meter entfernt, die Altstadt und das Teatro Massimo erreicht man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten, Restaurants befinden sich in großer Zahl in nächster Umgebung, dennoch ist das Apartment ausgesprochen ruhig. Die Häuserfassade hat historische Patina, sobald man sich im Treppenhaus befindet, ist aber alles hochgepflegt und ausgezeichnet belüftet. Zimmer und Bad sind von penibler Reinlichkeit, die Dusche ist großzügig und modern. Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin war mehr, als man überhaupt erwarten kann - mit deliziösem Backwerk, Getränken, großer Aufmerksamkeit. Der Clou war eine edle Dachterrasse mit Blick über Palermos Dächer bis in die Berge. Und das alles zu einem höchst freundlichen Preis (da haben wir vor kurzem in Rom und Barcelona zu deutlich höheren Preisen weit Bescheideneres erlebt!)

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was a quick walk from the shared taxi drop off in a very centrally/convenient area of the historic section of Palermo. The apartment was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. Stefania was an amazing and incredible host. She was flexible with us for check in and provided daily messaging to make sure we had everything for our stay, including printing up our boarding passes and arranging a taxi for a very early morning flight!

Lo amable y gentil que fue Stephanie. Nos ha traído dulces para desayunar y una botella de vino de regalo. Muy dispuesta a ayudar y nos informó de sitios de interés.

Que no haya ascensor, lo que es un problema para personas mayores. Pero la anfitriona fue tan amable que nos ayudó a subir las maletas

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Alles sehr sauber, das Personal sehr bemüht und zur Stelle, bevor man überhaupt gefragt hat.

Gut zu wissen: oberster Stock ohne Lift. Die Wohnung ist recht hellhörig.

Host was courteous and provided us with breakfast on our arrival and the following days. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The area which was close to the square (Piazza Olivella) had a number of bars and restaurants. Before our arrival our host Stefania recommended places of interest and where to eat, including how to get from Palermo airport to our accommodation. We found taxi sharing was the best option and reasonably priced at 8 euros each. As a native of Sicily it was easy for me to navigate round Palermo and speaking the language also helps. However goggle map also works. Sicilians are a helpful nation and more so when you compliment their food which is delicious. I would certainly recommend Peonia apartments and would use it again.

The host's hospitailty was magnificent which included information about the city, and by pasties and wine. The facilty was extremely well appointed, clean and functional. The hot tub was icing on the cake

Our apartment was beautiful and had everything needed for comfort - including the hot tub! It is close proximity to all of the sights and easy transport by bus from the airport. Our host Stephania made our stay extra special with a New Year’s gift of champagne and cake, along with all the extra treats! In addition she gave us many recommendations for both sights and restaurants, and was always available for advice or assistance. We loved our stay here and hope to get back again!
