Close to town

Great location and good layout for a family of 5. Nice and warm in Hanmer winter with two heat pumps and a log fire. Nice big kitchen and good mattresses. Wonderful not having to drive for 3 days. Easy walk to restaurants and thermal pools. Great being so close to Hanmer Forest for dog walks.

Slightly dated joinery in places, faster internet would keep kids a little happier. But I’m being picky as it was a great place to stay.

The location is perfect, within walking distance to the pools and main street, but far away enough that there is no noise. The beds are comfy, the house is very clean, and the house was warm. It had everything you need in the kitchen. The house was bigger than I expected. We had a really lovely stay and would recommend.

The house book said the tv is so easy to figure out you don't need instructions...we needed instructions. We were able to figure it out, but it took awhile (this happens almost everywhere we go, so maybe we're just not very tech savvy).

Location was excellent. Nice spacious house. Lovely and warm on arrival (heat pump on) and plenty of firewood. Bed in master bedroom was comfortable.

Bunk bed top bunk was very creaky didn’t realise until arrival that it was not recommended for a young adult. Probably okay for a smaller child.
