Mondo Diverso is a one of a kind apartment. It’s like being in your second home. So impressively decorated and comfortable. The responsiveness and pleasantness of the owners is a great. They are genuinely concerned about you and that you have an amazing experience. We did not feel like we were staying with strangers, but with friends.

Amazing decoration and ambiance.

Superb location, right in the heart of the old town and close to the river and some great bars and restaurants but despite its central location, it was also really quiet. The apartment itself is amazing! It’s been lovingly restored to a high standard with quirky artwork and personal touches (the chilled sparkling wine and chocolates on arrival were really appreciated). The apartment is huge, with a spacious living area and three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. It was also really good to have two bathrooms which can be hard to find in rental properties (both were accessible from the corridor rather than being en-suite so was flexible for a group). The owners were really helpful and responsive in all communications.

Nothing really to criticise but worth being aware if you have any accessibility requirements that it’s in the car-free pedestrian zone (nearest taxi drop-off point is about 300m away) and on the second floor without a lift. This wasn’t a problem though, we were happy to walk up from the taxi although an electric transport can be arranged to ferry you between the taxi and apartment if needed. It was also an ‘in-person’ check-in & check-out and the staff were very helpful with carrying our luggage up the stairs!

This is a beautiful apartment right in the heart of the old town in Ljubljana. It’s very comfortable, with large bedrooms, living spaces and bathrooms. Although the size and location alone are reasons to book this, it is also incredibly charming. The space has been thoughtfully designed. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to ensure we all had an incredible stay, including our baby. Could not recommend this accommodation more.

To stay in this apartment is like living in a different world! Next to it being located right in the heart of Ljubljana, the apartment itself is an experience out of the ordinary. If you are looking for something inspiring, making you want to stay inside as much as you want to explore the city, this is your space. The owners, Kaja and Ivan, have done everything to make your stay wonderful and awesome. There is so much to explore! Our kids also loved it and were amazed by all the details, both luxurious and funny. Apart from the creative interior - strengthened by the making-off pics and vids (shhhh… we don’t want to spoil your own discovery) - the apartment is clean, has spacious rooms, great quality beds and couches, very well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms, airconditioning and more than enough closet space. The center of Ljubljana is car-free, but free transportation by electric cart was arranged for us. Our stay was a dream!

This place makes you not want to leave, but after 2 nights, we had to. That’s the only negative ;)

This is one of the most beautiful and unique properties we have had the opportunity to visit. The location is perfect, the space is huge, and the design…impossible to describe in details to give it full credit. Go to their instagram account and you’ll see what we mean! The only regret we had was that we only stayed 2 nights- not enough time to appreciate the space….but we’ll be back! My advice: book Mondo Diverso now, while you can, because once word gets out, it will be hard to find open dates!

Great location in the heart of Ljubljana! Wonderful, quirky apartment and perfect for a group.

Location: in the shadow of Ljubljana Castle, at the heart of the old town and a short walk away from sights, restaurants, shopping and the river. The flat itself is stunning. Enormous! Absolutely spotless and lovingly, uniquely and stylishly renovated. The kitchen area is well equipped with quality appliances (including an espresso maker), great TV and sound system, the bathrooms are spotless. There are also useful areas to store bags, coats and shoes in the lobby area. The bedrooms are individually decorated and the beds are very comfortable. Check out the illuminations in the small courtyard attached to one of the bedrooms! The owners are super responsive - we had one question during our stay that was answered within minutes. Mondo Diverso is a fabulous apartment and I highly recommend it.

I wish we could have stayed longer.
