The owner was really kind and helpful, he gave us the best welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, with a really big bed. Altogether this property is perfect for visiting Pétra if you have a car (it's located uphill).

The room (except for the bathroom) was really clean, it looks like a 3-star hotel. Very comfortable ans enormous bed. Good working AC. It was not exactly the room shown in the photos but I guess all of the rooms are similar. You have all the amenities and facilities you need in the room. Fridge, several plugs and water heater to prepare tea or coffee. The owner is responsive and helpful.

There are a few things that we didn't like, some of them are unfortunately not improvable like the location of the place, very close to a Mosque so you will be woken up very early in the morning (5 am), but I guess you go there to visit Petra so you should wake up very early anyway. The location is a bit far from "center", not nearby restaurants or shops, and it is almost in the top of Wadi Musa town, so basically you cannot walk anywhere, for us it was not a problem because we had rented a car, but otherwise you really need a taxi, that is not cheap. If you have a car is good location (although the access to the place is a bit tricky) and you will just need a 10 minutes drive to shops/restaurants and 7 minutes drive to Petra visitor center. Now I will just mention some things that can be improved: 1) Breakfast was a joke: first day just a few pieces of raw cucumber and tomato and 3 cold boiled eggs with tea. Second day: few pieces of bread with hummus and few falafel. 2) Dinner was too expensive: 15 jod per person, we are glad we didn't take it after seeing what we got for breakfast. 3) Bathroom, specially the bath/shower, was dirty and the sink full of hairs. 4) The hot water for shower was difficult to get, either you had boiling water with little stream or freezing water if you touch it a little bit. 5) The owner, although responsive and very professional, was a bit intrusive in the sense that he wanted to know all the time where we were going, at what time we were going out and coming back, for no apparent reason. Although my comments might resemble we didn't have a nice stay, we actually had and we would repeat the same place if ever coming back to Petra. My comments are just meant for the host to be able to improve future stays, specially the breakfast issue (or at least reduce the price for what you get). The value for money is good and Jordan, specially Wadi Musa, is not a cheap place to visit/stay.

Very friendly and caring host. The room was supper clean. The facilities were good. The host was super friendly and offered extra help and guidance. I will definitely recommend Marvel Hostel and I will go back.

The only issue was the distance. The hostel was located on the top of the city. Yet, the host offered transportation. So, I was comfortable and well looked after.

Great stay in this Hostel close to the main entrance of Petra . Clean,nice breakfast . Great dinner option which is homemade Thanks to all the Staff for help and kindness .

The locatıon ıs perfect and close to petra , staff was were nıce and helpful . House got nıce vıew to the cıty . And we trıed homemade food whıch was super delıcıous . Hıghly recommended .
