USBeautiful view from the deck and Alice place to practice yoga. Very spacious room with mini fridge and water kettle. The meals were exceptionally delicious and the staff felt more like friends than employees. We even had a jam session one night with the various instruments at the property. I was able to get a rental car through the property which was SO clutch!

SEFrukosten var bra och välgjord. För oss som besökare från Sverige är det ovant att få en tillagad liten barracuda ihop med tre olika delikata sallader istället för en tallrik filmjölk och en smörgås. En så fin Japansk frukost vill man gärna ha när man valt att resa långt hemifrån.
Lite svårt att hitta första gången. Lågmälda Japaner använder inte stora skyltar.... Vi fick ringa och fråga hur man bäst hittar fram då vi kört förbi vid första försöket. Sedan gick det bra.

Expectations need to be set on modern comforts. Beds are traditional Japanese. Room is in a loft, but has AC. Other retail customers share the common areas. Shower is a shared space.

Tropical insects, be aware
AUWe stayed in the cottage 5 minutes away, it had everything we needed and the view was beautiful. The staff were excellent, helpful hosts. There was a washing machine and somewhere to hang the clothes with a fan to dry them, a bathtub big enough for two as well as a kitchen. We highly recommend the menu at Takahira Base, super healthy and delicious.
