Wanaka Studio - sea views from your private patio

Good view and comfortable space.

Very noisey large gathering in the upstairs unit. We were woken up early in the morning from loud stomping, jumping and running from a large number of people and children. Unfortunately this continued on and off throughout the day. If we had known there would be such a large number of people staying upstairs, we would not have booked. The rules state that there is a limit on the number of people aloud on the property due to noise levels so this was surprising. The amount of running, stomping and thumping upstairs seemed to eventually lead to a very squeaky floor board directly above the bedroom in the bottom unit which along with the stomping kept us awake from 6am.

The location

The location was outstanding, however, when we entered the place we were disappointed with how the view was obscured because the windows and doors had not been cleaned in months! I attempted to clean a couple of windows with water and paper towels and it was somewhat improved. In addition, the place lacked hand towels and wash cloths. Was this an over site or just never provided. Finally, this unit was the only placed we stayed at that did not have a microwave. For short stays, a full oven and cooktop are used less than a microwave. Interestingly, this was the only property not managed by the owners and it showed!

Lage war super. Alles sehr hell und gut ausgestattet. Schwimmen konnte man nicht wirklich.

Esstisch war wirklich extrem klein! Leider auch keine Stühle um draußen zu sitzen nur Holzbank, die schön aussieht aber ja bequem ist. Mieter von der Wohnung darüber waren sehr laut, zudem gingen die einfach durch unseren Bereich zum Strand, wir hatten aber Regelung, dass wir nicht nach oben sollen.

Location, very clean, comfy bed and sofa. Easy parking nearby. Ideal for a couple.

It was spot on although it could do with an oven glove and a pair of tongs.

The view was excellent, beach front view. Nice and comfortable. Close to shops and sights to see. Good base camp. Shower/bathroom was excellent.

No microwave oven. A bit dusty in areas near dining table, but otherwise clean. Street parking only.

It’s a beautifully arranged one bedroom beachfront apartment unit. It has a well equipped kitchenette with a separate bedroom. The view of the ocean from the living room is stunning and very soothing. It is very clean and comfortable. Having a washing machine in the unit was very handy. we would definitely go there again.

Finding the unit was difficult. Better instructions to get to the location is needed.
