"A wonderful place in a magical beach"

We had one of our best stays in Sri Lanka at the Sunshine Café. The best fresh food and deliciously prepared. The couple that runs the place were extremely helpful and whole hearted. The beach there is spectacular and just a 2 min walk away. The family room was spacious and perfect for us as a couple with two small children

We stayed at the sunshine cafe for two nights and had a wonderful time - it ticks all the boxes! It’s in a great location and only a quick 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach that is so lovely and quiet! The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner here and it was all SO delicious. The food is so fresh and flavoursome(especially the seafood)as well as being great value. The room was lovely and big with an outdoor kitchen and private terrace area. It was lovely and peaceful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the view of the beautiful garden. Give this place a go - you won’t regret it!
