Loved our stay at Casa Vittoria. The hosts really do go above and beyond and ensure the best possible experience in this amazing location The accommodation is amazing and really well thought out. The views were spectacular

Excellent location with beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Stocked mini fridge with breakfast items there was even beer in the fridge lol. Everything we needed was provided checking in went smoothly.

Cosimo Francesca and Eustachio were the perfect guests. The house was well equipped and full of food and drinks.

This apartment is a simple but authentic and sympathetically restored property with stunning views and warm hosts. Cosimo, Francesca and Eustachio were most welcoming and friendly. We were fetched from and dropped off at the train station which is really important. It's difficult to find places in Matera and we saw a number of tourists lugging their suitcases up steep stairs and cobblestoned paths, looking lost and tired while trying to find their accommodation. The apartment is beautifully located with stunning views. It was clean and comfortable and generously stocked with coffee, tea, milk, juice, eggs, bread and pastries. The hosts truly know how to make their guests feel welcome. Grazie mille!! If I could have scored it an 11 I.would have...highly recommended.

Nothing not to like. A suggestion: It would be helpful to recommend a small variety of restaurants; Having arrived quite late on a Saturday we couldn't find anywhere that could accommodate us without a booking and ended up having take away pizza in our room.

The property is magnificent! The view is so spectacular that each evening we had several tourists outside the door photographing and enjoying the view of the Sassi. The apartment itself is cool (most welcome) and comfortable. The beds were on the firm side, which I loved. Even the sofa bed was great. There were lovely welcoming touches with food and drink being left for us by our friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a memorable stay. Firstly, let's talk about the view. It's breathtaking. The property offers an incredible vista of Matera, giving us a panoramic glimpse of its unique landscape such as waking up to the sunrise over the Sassi.Our host, Cosimo, and his parents, Francesca and Eustachio, were the epitome of hospitality. Cosimo seamlessly coordinated our stay through Booking.com and WhatsApp, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Despite the language barrier with his parents, their warmth and willingness to assist transcended any communication challenges. From picking us up at the Matera railway station to dropping us off at the accommodation, their attention to detail and genuine care for our comfort were evident. One instance that truly stood out was when we inquired about transportation to the Matera bus station upon checkout. Without hesitation, our host offered to drive us, even at the early hour of 6:30 AM. True to their word, Cosimo's father arrived promptly, allowing us to check out seamlessly and providing a stress-free start to our day. In terms of amenities, the property left nothing to be desired. Our room was well-equipped, and opting for breakfast was a delightful choice. Everything we needed for a satisfying morning meal was readily available, making for a convenient and enjoyable start to our days of exploration. The location of the property was another highlight. Situated close to everything Matera has to offer, we found ourselves within easy reach of its historic sites, charming cafes, and bustling markets. We sincerely thank Cosimo and his family for their warmth and generosity, making our stay in Matera truly unforgettable. For a stay that goes beyond mere accommodation, this is the perfect choice.

Adding carpet to the kitchen and living area would significantly enhance the accommodation experience. This addition would not only provide warmth and comfort but also address the issue of cold tiles, ensuring a cozy and inviting atmosphere throughout the space.

The only thing I would suggest, do something with head bad frame. The pillow is felling down true whole on the bad frame. Other than that, it was perfect!

The location was spectacular. It may be the best view from one's front door in all of Matera. The place was very clean. The hosts ensured we had the keys in hand, met us on time, helped us transition both in the apartment and out. Cafe steps from the front door. Fridge was stocked with goodies. The hosts obviously care about this place very much. Very good wifi. I can't recommend this place enough. I will recommend this place over and over again.

I can't say I disliked anything. My wife and I were very comfortable. The apartment is enough space for two with a living area connected to the kitchen and dining table and a small loft for the bedroom. The bathroom was very clean and hot water was good.

The family who own and run the property were exceptionally friendly and helpful

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They stocked the refrigerator with milk, juice, eggs beers, butter, waters, etc. They also provided cereal, cookies and other snacks. The view from the apt was out of this world!!!! The room was very spacious and comfortable. They also gave us tips on the restaurants and personally took us to the parking place and brought our luggage to the apt themselves.
