Hard to get up that last gravel driveway, but the hosts resolved that by chauffeuring us and letting us borrow their all-terrain vehicle. Even more fun.
USWe absolutely loved our stay at the Healing Acres yurt. The owners have put so much care in making this a special place, up to the smallest details. The yurt is very beautiful and comfortable inside. The temperature was very comfortable. They have a split AC unit that works very well and that you can set to the temperature you want. All appliances were brand new and the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped. They have a pull-out couch that our 2 teenagers shared and that worked very well. The deck is beautiful. The yurt sits on top of a hill, so the deck is close to the tree tops. It's a very peaceful place where we enjoyed watching the birds and looking at the stars. The owners are wonderful and generous. They showed us their garden, left us fresh eggs, and gave us great tips about waterfalls. The gravel road to the yurt is steep and we decided not to try going up with our van, but that wasn't a problem for us. It's a short distance and there is a nice path through the woods. When the owners were around they always kindly offered us a ride up with their ATV. Wonderful place with wonderful people! We hope to be back!
USThe property was amazing. There was a nice note left by the owners and detailed instructions on how to work the a/c and they even left their numbers if I needed to get ahold of them

USEVERYTHING! It was so welcoming and cozy. You could tell a lot of thought and love was poured into it. We had never stayed in a yurt before and we were quite impressed!
