Trullo Mamamè

The villa is really lovely. It suited us perfectly as it's effectively split into 2 apartments, one upstairs with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, the other downstairs with a bedroom and bathroom, which my in-laws stayed in. It's a beautiful old Trullo exceptionally well modernised and looked after, very comfortable. Outside you have lovely views, a wonderful pool and surrounding area, and plenty of shade available if the sun gets too hot. Walking in Puglia countryside is not particularly easy as they don't really do pavements except in the towns, so would recommend a car. If you have one, it's only 5 minutes up the road into Cisternino, and Ostuni and Locorotondo are both close and both well worth visiting. The hosts Marina and Angelo were everything you could wish for in holiday hosts. They obviously love what was once their grandad's home, and have turned it into a lovely holiday destination. I'm looking forward to our next visit!

It wasn't a problem for us, but there are some stairs between the apartments and down to the pool which are a little steep. Just something to be aware of if you're staying with anyone who isn't particularly mobile.

Everything! The location is stunning, the house is spotless and beautifully designed, and we felt so welcome thanks to the warm reception and helpful tips. It was our first time staying at a private place like this – and it truly exceeded our expectations.

The place was incredibly clean and tidy. It was all very new and the whole area makes you feel very comfortable.

Very beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, very clean amd well equipped (appliances, furniture etc.). Some touches like the stone frames around the lights are something I personally liked a lot.

The property is exceptional in terms of design, style landscaping and cleanliness. The pool is a delight and the area so peaceful. We were met by Angelo who was so helpful showing us round the trullo and was in touch throughout the week to tell us best beaches and restaurants. The trullo is well equipped and very spacious, air conditioning is quiet and has a bbq outside. There is a supermarket close by but would recommend a car to make the most of the area.

Nothing - it was the best holiday home I have stayed in. It was a little too far for us to walk into Cisternino but we were blessed to use taxis.

Absolutely everything!

It was immaculately clean and well presented, inside and out. We could not fault it - there was such attention to detail and it was all so tasteful and well designed. A pleasure to the eye. There was so much space. It was well maintained while we were there - the pool was cleaned every day and the garden watered. A lot of love and care has gone into the property. Angelo was supremely helpful, thoughtful, generous and friendly. Such a super nice chap.

The only thing was that it would benefit from more robust kitchen knives - something to cut meat with, and watermelons etc!

We had the most amazing time. The Villa was better than we expected and the location was perfect for beach and small/restaurants.

The villa is stunning and spacious we wish we could have stayed longer! Angelo was so welcoming and helpful. It was only a 20 minute walk into the town. We had the best stay and will definitely return!
