La Fernandina

We have nothing but praise for La Fernandina. Our host, Aldo met us at the train station with warm fresh foccaccia and gave us a detailed tour of the apartment. He was very helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go & helped us when we decided to rent a car and needed a garage over night. The apartment had everything we needed for a week long stay in Camogli including washing machine and heated towel rack. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and it's a bonus having the bedroom separated from the main living area & kitchen when jet lag hits. Double glazed windows did a great job of quietening the ever tolling church bells and the constant Italian street chatter going on outside. The apartment is perfectly located in the centre of town with a local cafe next door for morning coffee & pastries, a flight of stairs to the beach promenade, & an easy 5 minute walk to the train station.

Our only complaint was that we had to leave!

Amazing apartment in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the sea, restaurants, bars, and cafés. The hosts, Aldo and Marcella, were fantastic—they welcomed us with delicious focaccia, were incredibly friendly, and gave us great tips on what to see and where to eat. The apartment was spotless, fully equipped with everything we needed, and at night we fell asleep to the soothing sound of sea waves. An unforgettable stay—we're definitely coming back!

The Wi-Fi isn't very strong, and the data connection isn't great either. However, we didn't need it that much anyway. We would not recommend for remote working.

Very clean well appointed apt in heart of Camogli.Aldo is a very friendly welcoming host.Apt is close to everything camogli has to offer-bars, restaurants, beach, train station 5 minutes away.yet very quiet at night, we will definitely return to La Fernandina.

That we had to leave

Such a great spot, quite literally steps from the beach. You couldn’t get any closer, so perfect. It is someone’s home, which makes it super cosy and comfortable. The hosts were so very lovely, and we arrived to fresh foccacia. I would definitely come back if I was staying in Camogli.

The host was very friendly and communicative and met us up at arrival to give us keys. Apartment was nice and clean, nice decor and comfortable.

The wifi was very slow, so we used mobile data instead.

Everything. This is a recently, and very beautifully renovated apartment in a perfect location in the old town within one flight of steps to the beach. While there is no seaview you are so close you can hear the sea as it rolls over the pebbles. Aldo and Marcella are very gracious and friendly hosts who welcomed us at the apartment with delicious fresh foccacia and water. They went out of their way to explain the workings of their beautifully restored apartment. They have thought of everything one might need and with such a personal and thoughtful touch. They let us stay beyond check out time, knowing we had a very late flight home. They simply can't do enough We enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen and enjoying the space. It is spacious, extremely clean with a great bathroom and super bedroom. Bed and linens are excellent. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Aldo and Marcella for letting us share your beautiful apartment. 10*+ for your apartment and your generous and thoughtful hosting.
