Villa Samatha

The Villa is amazing! Great pool, bed, outside kitchen and a great bathroom. Luggage behind bathroom is also very handy. So clean, comfortable, the best bit is the complete privacy! Internet was faultless! Emmanual and the team are brilliant. Contactable anytime and always call to check they can enter the premises to clean up and do maintenance! The two apps you need are WhatsApp and Grab and get an e-sim from the airport!

The only negative is it’s out of the way location. It’s in Nusa Dua, but far from the touristy part. When you drive into the complex it’s less than breathtaking, but once you open the gate the location is totally forgotten! You require to use a Grab (Asian version of Uber -food too) to go anywhere. You can walk the short distance to the market for essentials but that can be a huge risk as there are no footpaths and Bali roads are something truly to behold! They are not for the faint of heart! The cost for this incredible place more than compensates for the need to use a Grab. For instance Jimbarran beach is $7 ish and Kuta is about $17 ish. It takes a long time to get anywhere in Bali so give yourself lots of time!

Emmanual was very nice and accommodating. He even offered to get up at 4:00am to help with a taxi. Amazing service.

It was a bit off the beaten path for just one night. But that has nothing to do with the location.

the cleanliness and tranquility of the villa

Villa structure is beautiful. However it lacks positive energy and liveliness due to lack of proper housekeeping.

Hygiene issues. When we entered, many bugs/flies were on bed. All windows glasses were dirty. Dirt marks on bed linens. Dust and spider webs on cupboards. Mainly swimming pool has green fungi like things at bottom and motor was not working. Cleaning guys came next day after complaining, only after making us wait for 2-3hrs than given time ad wasting 1 night out of 2 night stay. Even tea/sugar/coffee sachet, tissue paper were supplied only when asked.

Privacy, and the design.

The shower was calcified needs to be replaced, and you there isn’t enough hot water to fill the bath tub even half way. There was also rat poo on the bed one day when we returned for the day.

All was good ,but the terrace was amazing 👏..

Hard to find. Poorly maintained. Unclean.

A great relaxing stay. We loved the pool and the outdoor kitchen. Plenty of shops closeby. Overall I would recommend

The location, it was hard to find. A bit of maintenance is needed for a few thing's.
