Gabo Homestay

I stayed here as a solo female traveller, this place is so local and authentic if you want to see the real Philippines you should stay here. Its got everything you need and the bed is very comfy. The WiFi works very well I was impressed. If you like been in a more remote area but still have easy access to two local nice beaches you will love it here. The family was very kind and welcoming qnd helped me with anything I needed including boat tours and rides into town and to the ferry port very helpful. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend to seasoned travellers who want to immerse themselves more into the culture away from other tourists. Best place I have stayed in the Philippines

Your chance to stay with a local, friendly family! Facilities are simple but comfortable and the hosts really make this place special. You get your own mini apartment next to the family's main house, with it's own separate entrance/exit and lock. The location is ideally located close to Duli beach, which is a nice getaway from the busier beaches of El Nido, whilst still having facilities (beach bar, surfing, massage). The host is also a tuk tuk driver, and took us to the local 'hanging bridge' (think Indiana Jones and you're not far off ;). He can arrange tours and motorcycle/scooter hire as well. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a more authentic experience while travelling in Palawan.
