Nice pool, big yard for kids to enjoy with a jungle gym and trampoline. Spacious cottage with a nice verandah and a sea view.

Couches aren’t comfortable.

The host was lovely! She informed us of every detail we needed for our stay. We originally booked a one bedroom cabin but due to a slight booking error we were placed in a bigger place with no additional payments. The pool area was clean and accessible. The entire property is quiet and pretty and if you love cats and dogs there are plenty roaming around including a very friendly dog looking for treats. The parking is safe and the house was clean, equipped with a decent fridge and a decent supply of complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and creamer sachets and plenty kitchen items to feel right at home. The stove was not working but the host notified us of this fact and provided alternative 2 plate stove to work with. There is fan in every room. There is an outside area for a braai and seating. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The geyser is gas heated so you have to wait a little for some hot water. There is also a laundromat on the property. I didn't use it so I am not sure about the details. If you're not looking for anything fancy and will be spending most of your time out and about then you will feel at home. It is also a few minutes away from the beach.

The beds were not to my satisfaction in my opinion too hard. There was a storm the night we stayed and the power failed about 3 times. There were no alternative lighting solutions in the house and no generator. We were told the house they were moving us to would have a sea view but it didn't. We specifically booked the cabin because the pictures showed us a beautiful deck with a sea view so even though we were given a bigger place which was not needed because we were just just a 2 person party the upgrade was disappointing which is an odd thing to say but when you book a place for something specific like the view then it would be nice to get that but I was grateful how accommodating the host was instead of just informing us that there was a double booking and refunding.

The Place was Clean and lots of space Phoned the owner to organize Ice which she did, I appreciated that.

1 - Bath Towels old and not in good condition 2 - The Accommodation has no Aircons and fans that are ready to be disposed - old fans - it was extremely hot and now been it summer we expected that our accommodation will have Aircons. we had to use Fans that were old fashioned fans that hardly generated Cool Air 3 - No Soap or shower gels 4 - Toilet did not flush nicely 5 - No Teabags/Milk/Coffee sachets 6 - Poor Wi-Fi -had to use my data 7 - Checkout Time can be extended to 11am as most Hotels and Guesthouses in Port Shepstone offers those times. 8 - Our Car Got Messed with Sand, we do not know how that happened It was an Animal Probably that Jumped onto the car that was covered by Red Sand Lastly, I felt as If I Came to Prison, all over the walls there were lots of Rules and Regulations I would Suggest If You own an Accommodation Business Please try and be more Friendly and accommodating to your guests especially with your place, offer an Aircon for the comfort of your guests. that Idea of Guest sleeping on Bricks is Outdated every time I turned my body on the bed it made noise, I was sleeping on Wood and Bricks You need to do a Serious Renovation on your accommodation. I Will Not Consider Staying here again.
