Its a good location. Its a short walk from the beach. Has a lot of general stores and cafes around which makes it convenient.

On arrival at the room, there was no soap or water or any other basic amenities except for two towels. The curtains rod was broken and the curtains hanging in a crooked manner. Then upon placing the baggage I saw there were ants going around the room. When I slept at night then the ants were on the bed as well. Upon telling the staff they said they were unaware and would clean the room, the room cleaning did not help since the room is infested with ants. The other guests in the hostel played loud music till late in the night and kept the common area in a very dirty way, leaving behind all the soiled utensils and drink glasses. Which may just be the cause of this ant infestation and overall lack of cleanliness of the property. There was no power and water on one day and a half day for over 2 hours which made it difficult to say the least. The cutlery and water kettle in the common area are also poorly maintained.

There not a single thing that could be appreciated. Very bad experience.

The hosts are welcoming, all amenities available as a hostel. The staff are helpful and fun. Always available to help and assist.

This review is for fellow backpackers and woman travelling solo or with queer folks. - To reach this location you will have to take a bus from panji to madgaon and then to canacona. Take the same into account for timings. - The location is good, walking distance from the beach and markets. Plenty of food spots around cafes and bars. It mostly makes for a safe stay and streets. The german bakery, Chilli Chicken and Clarins were pretty good. - The hostel itself has most facilities but the washing machine was broken down, most activity nights were placed around drinking. - The hostel itself is good but definitely needs to make their picks, the number of men at this hostel was overwhelming to add to it one of them during our stay got drunk and misbehaved and in general was creepy and unpleasant to be around. My friend felt deeply uncomfortable sharing the space with them. While the staff eventually ended up kicking him out and resolving the issue they were very hesitant and even asked if my friend would want to stay in the same dorm for just another night. - The staff has to be more stringent about making it a safer space.
