Really great place, super cool host. Appreciated the conversations. Wouldn't hesitate to say here again. Great location with easy access to the whole island. Great restaurants in the neighborhood as well. Loved it...

The owners are the sweetest couple and just a delight to talk to and have amazing recommendations for what to do around the island and close to the cabin. The cats are also the best part as well as they are sweet and fun to watch just hanging out.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tropical Frog. It was very clean and comfortable and Richard was a friendly and helpful host. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The hosts were great - Richard was there to make sure we were checked in and had everything we needed. We arrived by car, but it accessible by shuttle from the airport or taxi - so that would have worked also. The area was quiet and neighbors were friendly. It had great access to Kibougaoka beach which is walkable, and a series of restaurants and bars just north. Overall, from the location we were able to explore Sesoko Island, Nago, and Ogimi village up north - and still went south to Onna and American village in Chatan. Very easy to get around the island by car and this is a great central location. Was very pleased to have a nice porch to have some food/drinks on in the evening. Overall 10/10

Nothing, I wish I could have stayed longer!

We stayed at the Tropical Frog for 6 days. It was truly fantastic. Restaurants and convenience stores are within a 10-minute walk. In the evenings, you can relax on the terrace, and for excursions, the nearest bus stop is right on the main road. Hikari and Richard really make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. If needed, you can also rent scooters or diving equipment. Also worth mentioning are the sweet cats – especially Betsy. We would choose the Tropical Frog again anytime.

This was a last minute booking for me and I'm so so glad I did. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and we chatted quite a bit during evenings and mornings (which I was willing to do). I got some good activity recommendations which I took up and they were worth it. The cabin is new and clean with a washer and dryer inside. It's a pleasant walk to the beach, a few restaurants, and a couple conbinis. The central island location is also great to explore to either the north or the south. As if that wasn't enough, several friendly and cute rescue cats will keep you company on the deck too!
