Venice Suites

A great base to explore Venice - clean, quiet and comfortable, large space, coffee machine, water and Pepsi in the fridge. The host explained everything in great detail on arrival, so perfect for first time guests to Venice.

The location is affordable and practical to catch the 4L bus 10mins ride to Venice, but otherwise it didn’t feel like a particularly nice area to be in.

Very well located department accessible by express transfer bus from Marco Polo airport just two stops short of Venice maistre station. Same bus stop brings you into Venice on the four l and back included in the Venice pass or 1.50 Euro if not. Super helpful guy at check-in and give us all the local information for buses etc including to tap on and tap off with contactless. Very nice and comfortable apartment very spacious great air con and good bathroom and shower limited kitchen but good fridge and freezer and microwave coffee machine and coffee pods supplied it and complementary water/cola as well.

Perfect location - close to bus station and easy to reach old city; quite place; big apartments; very kind and helpful personal. Despite it’s located on the mainland this hotel provide free pass to Venice, so no need to pre-book and pay for it (this info is not mentioned during booking but likely I managed to cancel my pre-booked passes and saved some money). The guy at reception was very kind and advised what is nearby (cafes, shops etc.), how best to get to old city and was happy to answer any questions as well as was answering messages on WhatsApp at any time. It was very nice to find free cold water and soft drink in the fridge in the room. Also free coffee and tea were available at any time in the corridor. Also it has been allowed to leave luggage until almost midnight on the last day after checkout.

Marks are not excellent due to one thing that has significantly reduced positive impression - awful mattress. It’s extremely soft - probably just a piece of foam rubber. That is definitely not good for sleeping and the back pains after sleeping on it. Despite it’s mentioned during booking that all taxes are paid it’s still required to pay 4€ per person/per night on site as city tax. Further I found that after booking is completed in the app it’s mentioned that the hotel collect additional 4€ per person per night but this should be clearly mentioned before booking in order to avoid negotiations on site (not paying this tax may cause you problems/significant penalty in airport next time if flying through Italy).

Nejlepší ubytování v Benátkách jaké jsem kdy měla a půjdu už jen tady. Super čisté pokoje, ticho, pohodlná postel a skvělý pan hostitel. Perfektní lokalita pro cestování do Benátek se skvělým sociálním vybavením. Za mě velmi milé překvapení a skvělý poměr cena versus výkon.

El encargado Pereira es excelente, nos trato de la mejor forma desde el principio. Nos explico las mejores formas de transportarnos y donde comer. Ademas fue muy gentil y amable recordandome que habia olvidado algo en el cuarto.

Me gustó todo, la persona que nos recibió, no pudo ser mejor anfitriona, nos explicó con detalles la mejor forma de aprovechar el día en Venecia, como llegar, nos aconsejó donde comer por la zona, vamos, que ojalá todos los hospedajes fuesen así…
