They cancelled my booking from their end, but it was still booked on booking.com platform. On my day of arrival when I contacted the property owner, she told me they had sent me an email asking for payment and since there was no reply, the booking was cancelled from their end. However, booking.com policy said payment at the property and free cancellation. When I asked the host about any room availability on my day of arrival, she said NO, even though it was showing availability in booking.com platform. I had to book another property at the last moment causing a lot of trouble. Very unfriendly host.
