Tenuta Canina

We traveled throughout italy for 2 weeks and Tenuta Canina was BY FAR the best place we stayed. Here for 3 nights what a treat! Serene, impeccably maintained, great location, scenic and a highlight of our trip. The lodging is restored with all the modern creature comforts (Wifi, TV, pool, laundry and dryer) and well stocked for your stay (all the plates glasses utensils and openers you need). We treated the property with kid gloves to preserve its wonderful elegance. Everywhere the details convey what special care was needed to create this place from wood finish to tasteful selections throughout. Sent a picture of the view out one of the windows and friends indicated it looked like a commercial....perfect.... and it was. There is a security gate in the driveway and modern surveillance cams outside the structure and pool. It does have a dirt driveway and gravel parking area but was of little concern to us.

Our only issue might be the bed was extremely firm and we have firm mattress at home. There is a full time caretaker on property every day and other than a warm welcome when we arrived had no interaction with him. When you see the properties impeccable maintenance it is an easy price to pay.

Wunderbare Lage und wunderschönes Haus

Beautiful old house with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape and a huge, magical, terraced, shaded garden. Large rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Very well equipped.

It’s north-facing and a bit shaded (although this is probably lovely in summer). It's a bit too close to town, noisy. Steep stairs inside the house.

Beautiful Tuscan home with a killer view. Very nice kitchen with everything you would need to make a meal.

The windows don’t have screens and I’m understanding why , possibly so you don’t ruin the view, but bugs were coming in and that was concerning.

we had a wonderful time at this beautiful Villa! We enjoyed everything the superb view around the house, the beautiful kitchen and also the comfortable beds. Highly recommended!
