DKThe location and proximity to attractions is an asset. The owner responded quickly to messages and we were lucky to be informed that we could check in earlier.
The apartment has a very oppressive air. We understand that it is an area with high humidity, even we live 500 m from the sea, we know very well what problems can arise in this situation... but... there is far too much mold visible on the walls around the windows and in the bathroom cabinet, unpleasant smell in the cabinets, in the bedroom. Quite dangerous for people with respiratory problems. Most likely the apartment has not been used for a long time and has not been ventilated for a long time. There is an air conditioner, but the remote control had no batteries. I would recommend the owners to use that air conditioner, to have it on non-stop. It can help a lot to keep the apartment free of humidity. The kitchen also needs an upgrade. There are very few kitchen utensils and at least 1 frying pan wouldn't hurt.
CHQuite central, easy to get to. Everything is close, including our favorite café (Mordi e fuggi), a supermarket, lots of restaurants, and parking. The bathroom is spacious, with a washing machine and a beautiful shower. The host was flawless, as he was super nice, responsive and helpful.
