Friday Suites

The host is super nice, everything's prepared, the rooms are clean and spacious. Its location is very good, not to far from Old Town, restaurants, airport, and walking distance to 2 minimarkets

The host was a very nice and brought us some very tasty dates and oranges. He also told us great places that we should visit and gave us insider information. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early, but everything was handled in a very positive way.

Nothing to complain

The room size was excellent, the AC worked excellent the room lighting was really good, you had lots of options to have more or less light to suit your needs. You had adequate refrigeration space and water was provided. The host was friendly and wanted to make sure we had enough water and what was needed. He was a very good host.

We used the host as a driver/tour guide and were disappointed. In our experience when we have engaged a tour guide, they have been responsible for securing tickets for tours. Our host informed us that it was our responsibility to get the tickets and this was just a few days before our arrival and we had to drop everything to get tickets. Our purpose in coming to AlUla was to see Hegra and Dadan which were not included in his services even though he had been informed that was the purpose of our engaging his services. He offered to assist in lining up tours and getting tickets but then failed to follow through. He did not listen to what we wanted to see and took us places we did not want to see.

We had a wonderful time at Friday Suites. It felt like home. The owner, Abu Faisal was exceptional. He speaks English so we did not have a hard time communicating. He was very hospitable and very helpful with our itinerary. He made sure to take care of our needs. The apartment was very close to the center of Alula. It had ample parking space and the gate was secured. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Some issues we had was that the apartment had 3 bedrooms but there was only 1 bathroom inside. But the owner was kind enough to let us use the opposite bathroom for a day. The bathroom needs more cleaning and the mattress, blankets, towels and pillow cases had some yellow stains which did not look pleasant. Overall, this place was excellent. Highly recommended!

This accommodation is very good and fully met our expectations. We were a large family of nine people and we booked two apartments, one with one bedroom and one with three. The host gave us two extra beds for free. The three bedroom apartment has only one bathroom. The host is an exceptional person. We enjoyed pretty much talking about everything, including historical facts. He gave us a lot of useful suggestions for our stay. He also gave us some nice fruits and good dates. Highly recommended.

- The host was available at all times, providing all help and support I could possibly think of, providing options and trying to meet my requirements (in my case, I was allowed to drop my baggage in the room even though I was very early in the morning). He also provided recommendations on what to visit and what time. There were other cheaper options in the area, but this kind of service from host is worth its value - Room and bed were massive - Wifi was very reliable and fast - Easy to find and park

- The accommodation was a bit overpriced in my opinion (it was my most expensive one in my entire week visiting the country) but I understand this is a very busy touristic area - Location is a bit far from main attractions (towards South), around 15 minutes (driving) to old town parking, and 30 minutes to elephant rock, Hegra and other locations
