Appartamento La Coccinella

Naprosto špičkový apartmán, vše čisté, útulné, 3 minuty od pláže,v okolí jsou supermarkety a vše co potřebujete. Vybaveni apartmánu je skvělé najdete tam vše: od pračky, kávovary a kapslí do hrnců a pánvi a formou na led:) Je tam i sporák, i trouba, lednice, žehlička, fén, televize, klima, sušička (na balkóně), vlastně vše co byste potřebovali na krátkodobé ubytování (nebo i týdenní dovolenou). Jediné není mikrovlnka a myčka, ale za nás to nebyl problém. Občas zazvonil alarm v kuchyni, ale dá ho vypnout přes tlačítko. Paní majitelka příjemná a vždy ve spojení, kdyby cokoliv hned odpoví:)

The host was very friendly and also very flexible about my arrival time. She left me many packaged items for breakfast (including some gluten-free / lactose-free things) and lots of capsules for the coffee machine. The apartment was very clean, and the balcony had a clothes drying rack. Although the apartment didn't have what is properly called a "sea view", I could see the sea from the balcony; the beach wasn't far away, and I was able to take a lovely walk along the shore. The host gave me the name of a private taxi driver, who took me to the airport for less than what I would have had to spend otherwise.

The shower was tiny, and the bed was too hard for my comfort. The immediate area was a bit sparse — food shops, ATMs, and coffee bars were a few blocks away. I would have liked to have a microwave. I was unable to plug in the washing machine, so I had to wash some items by hand. (The kitchen could have used a couple of additional sockets, so that there would be enough for all appliances.)

The apartment was very light and large for a studio apartment. It had great amenities including a washer and plenty of storage - it would have been lovely to stay longer if I had the time. The best part was how our host, Giuseppina, helped us with a problem that had nothing to do with our stay. She went out of her way to help, was very gracious, and checked to be sure everything worked out.

It is due to my not understanding the geography and the transportation system but Lido di Ostia is much further away from Fiumicino Airport than a straight line on a map.

All kinds of snacks were there for us as well as a bottle of wine!

The perfume used in the apartment was overwhelming. Less would have been better.

Super clean and great host

The location was disappointing - the neighbourhood was run down, and noisy.

The apartment was very comfortable and nice
