Prestiva Stay

The host was very welcoming and friendly. He offered us homemade dinner and we got to peek into the different local tastes at breakfast. PS. use the opportunity and ask him or preorder for homemade dinner. Host is very knowledgable guy. He took his time to talk about Sri Lanka and made many suggestions for our trip, for excample Ritigala Strict Natural Reserve - which we visited, Thank You for that! Room was also very nice and comfortable. Small improvment is to add a watermop, to dry the shower/toilet room after showering, but it seems to be the same in all Sri Lanka.

Friendly host. Everything we need was there for us. Owner took an extra effort to keep the mosquitos away. We were surprised that we could not see a single mosquito. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of visiting Prestiva Stay for the second time in 2024, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The owner, Mr. Prageeth, is an incredibly humble and gracious host who goes above and beyond to make his guests feel at home – truly a "home away from home" experience. The property is impeccably maintained and beautifully organized, with every little detail thoughtfully attended to. From the cozy and comfortable bedrooms to the spotless and well-equipped bathrooms, everything exudes quality and care. One of the highlights of our stay was the surprise celebration Mr. Prageeth helped us arrange ,going above and beyond to ensure it was special. He insisted that it be “on the house,” a gesture that speaks volumes about his generosity and dedication to guest satisfaction. Throughout our stay, Mr. Prageeth was always ready with a warm smile and eager to fulfill any requests we had. His personal touch and attention to detail make Prestiva Stay a standout destination. A special mention must go to their incredible freshwater fish curry – an absolute must-try! To top it off, Mr. Prageeth even arranged a portion for us to take home, ensuring we left with not just fond memories but also a taste of Prestiva to cherish. We wholeheartedly recommend Prestiva to anyone seeking a relaxing, well-cared-for getaway. With such a dedicated host and an outstanding property, you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience.

Very clean. Host was always available to help us We got all 3 meals from the location. Choice of food ranging from rice, milk rice, string hoppers, pittu,fish, chicken was exceptional in taste. Price of food was very reasonable too Very good place to have a relaxing family holiday

We had our own space away from the main house, but host was on hand when we needed something. We traveled during a weather event and we were offered flexibility in booking which was so reassuring.

Separate accommodation for our driver would have been great. But again they put an extra bed in living room at our request so problem was solved.

We had a wonderful two days stay at Prestiva Stay in Anuradhapura. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and couldn’t be more pleased with the hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and spotless, with the bathrooms being exceptionally clean, which added to our overall comfort. The highlight of our stay was the delicious food prepared by the chef — every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, exceeding our expectations. For the quality of service and amenities provided, the stay was definitely worth the price. Prestiva Stay offered a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anuradhapura and look forward to returning in the future!

The property, interiour and garden were super nice. Very comfortable and clean. The host was incredibly helpful with everything and made sure we had good plans and great meals. He even helped us catch a train at 5 in the morning.
