I was given an outside room, this made my stay both comfortable and private.

The staff was friendly the towels and bedding clean and we slept comfortably

The pictures on the app are outdated and the place needs a little revamp (slightly unhooked curtains and broken curtain rails, tasteful bedding etc to go with the beautiful Victorian furniture) There were no shampoo or bodywash in the bathroom. The coffee station was not inside the room which meant that you have to get dressed before you could go out in the hall to the kitchen to make something to drink. For the price and star rating we expected a little more...

Die Leute waren sehr nett und wir hatten einen einfachen Check-in. Alles war sauber geputzt.

Frühstück war mit Liebe gemacht aber nicht so toll. Trotzdem sah man die Mühe. Die Unterkunft sieht auf den Bildern gut aus, ist aber recht wenig in Stand gehalten worden. Die Decken hatten Flecken und alles war etwas zu in die Jahre gekommen. Man hatte etwas das Gefühl, dass die Kommunikation nicht gut funktioniert, wenn es um Informationen vor Ort geht. Wann und wo wird gefrühstückt, wie läuft es ab, wie ist der WLAN Code, wir kommen wir aus der Tür oder dem Tor und wieder rein etc.

The staff at Victoria Manor is very friedly.

There are several appliances that do not work properly for example the taps in the bathroom are not fixed properly. I would also expect the possibility to make coffee in the rooms because the place is quite expensive.
