Nice hotel near Moshi in a lush garden, very nice rooms with super clean bathroom and AC. The personnel including Mister James was very helpful, helping with our requests and handling our luggage when needed the most. Swift payment by PayPal, nice menu at the restaurant.

There is room for improvement in the restaurant - the local cheffou should make more use of locally-available fresh products (e.g. for his tomato sauce topping on the pizza or to prepare home-made jams served for breakfast). It would be great to have a little fridge and freezer in the room too as it would help keeping our food and drinks cold. The T-bone steak was fried to the bone and virtually inedible and the meat portions were very small for their price tag.

The staff were very friendly - we booked 2 rooms which were decent size and beds were comfortable. Last minute booking that was handled well initially.

Our teenage kids were staying in one of the rooms and woke up during the night to a foul smell of sewage coming from the en-suite. They couldn’t get back to sleep. It was disgusting and when I reported to the receptionist the next morning he walked into the room, apologised but in my mind that was not enough. I felt the hotel management should have offered some compensatory gesture as the room was unfit for habitation. The food was average at best.

The room was amazing and it had AC which was a plus, especially after hiking Kilimanjaro as we needed some rest. The common areas are also very beautiful and the garden is impressive. The staff was also fantastic, always with a smile and the food was really good. Highly recommend staying here!

The room and the outdoor space are beautiful. You can spend your entire stay there and absolutely enjoy the services of the friendly people of Tulivu.

The service and the room were truly marvelous! Good food, perfect decorations, lush garden, well maintained. Fantastic crew.
