We liked that we can see the ocean and that it had a pool.

This was by far the worst place I stayed during my trip to Peru. The unit was filthy and clearly not maintained. The pillows were stained yellow and disgusting, and the sheets didn’t look clean at all. The entire place felt neglected and dirty like no one had taken the time to properly prepare it for a guest. The building itself was in terrible shape. Crumbling walls, peeling paint, and a creepy abandoned vibe. It honestly looked like a forgotten ghost building. The photos online were completely misleading. On top of that, the host insisted on communicating outside of Booking.com through WhatsApp which immediately raised red flags. They tried to get me to do a bank wire transfer and when I said I couldn’t they sent a random person to meet me and collect cash. I had to go to an ATM and hand over money to someone I had never met. It felt completely unprofessional and borderline unsafe. They told me the key would be left at the security checkpoint which thankfully it was but the entire experience was uncomfortable from start to finish. This place should not be listed on any major booking platform. Avoid it at all costs.

The two floored apartment was a great space for us and our family friends to stay. The facilities on site were good and the views across the sea beautiful.

The logistics of paying for the property and communication from the host could have been smoother. The listing says payment in cash only but the host requested a bank transfer which was not possible for foreign travellers. We ended up paying through PayPal at a slightly higher rate due to PayPal fee but felt this gave us some payment t protection than paying in cash or by another means would have. We were not informed that there are different condominiums until we arrived and did not know the number of the block or apartment number on arrival which delayed us accessing the property despite having contact with both the host and someone on site - neither of whom we saw at any point during our stay. We had no hot water to shower or wash up and as we stayed only one night it wasn’t worth calling anyone to help as we were so tired we just wanted to sleep rather than have to deal with maintenance issues. Despite the hot tub/jacuzzi being listed on the facilities it was covered with no way of being able to fill it or use it. We also had to pay extra for towels and bedding high seemed a bit odd and despite their being 20 of us on the listing there weren’t enough towels for one each. The property was also not especially clean with hairs in the sink:/shower and dirt on the floor. The beachfront is a pebble beach opposed to sand as it appears in the photos. The location of the property is a 10 minute drive from Para as centre with literally nothing around it. The only options for food are the onsite mini market and restaurant.

Great location, great attention from host! The view was amazing, the area felt very safe and all the staff were very helpful and friendly :) I would suggest this place for a large group of friends or family

There was an extra charge for the sheets, nonetheless some of the sheets were not very clean (they had splotches). The pots were old and one of the rooms smelled strange. But this could've been due to the humidity, the region itself is very humid since its close to the ocean.

Good location

Pools on the picture are very duty and cold. Hot tub was out of service. There was a party in near building with disgusting karaoke singing :). After midnight I finally called my contact and it got better, thanks.
