Loved Loxton.

Fireplace wasn't working properly. Lots of smoke in the house. Kitchen has no proper fridge. Luckily we had a camping fridge otherwise all our food would've been wasted. No proper stove / oven to work with. No braai tongs and an small flimsy rusty braaier with a grid that was extremely dirty.

The shower was excellent, and enough hot water - thank you! Warm comfortable bed.

Fireplace very welcome in the cold weather - however, front door had no blind or curtain so a lot of the heat from the fire was wasted. Luckily we had wood from our camping trip so we could make a fire. Kitchen facilities disappointing: the house can sleep 6 but there is a short shelf attached to the kitchen wall which can seat 2 people for a meal. Water did not run out of the sink - this needs attention.
