Casa Orchidea

Wir waren schon oft in Italien in Ferienwohnungen. Diese hier war perfekt. Super netter Empfang durch Giovanni. Tolle Ausstattung, es hat nichts gefehlt. Giovanni und Katia haben an alles gedacht. Milch, Butter, Prosecco, Wasser, Croissants, Kaffeetabs, Teebeutel, Waschmittel Tabs, Seife, sogar Intimlotion am Bidet, Pflaster, Damenhygieneartikel, Shampoo, Duschbad, wahnsinnig durchdacht alles. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Parkplatz kostenfrei direkt gegenüber. Der Ausblick vom Balkon war traumhaft. Der Ort wie im Märchen. Unten im Haus ist die süße Snackbar von Simona. Dort gibt es leckeres Frühstück, Snacks und Getränke bis 22 Uhr. Ziemlich preiswert mit Traumblick auf den See. Wenn wir mal wieder auf der Durchreise sind, würden wir die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Vielen lieben Dank und herzliche Grüße!

Roads around, but that is not depend on pur housts.

The breakfast was great because we made it ourselves. You go to the "Pasticceria" in Valsolda, about 1km east of the apartment, and buy whatever you want there. Casa Orchidea has a full kitchen and you can make whatever you want. The location is great, you can swim basically from right outside the front door. Gandria (one of our all time favorite places in Switzerland) is maybe 10 minutes drive away, Lugano 10 minutes past that.

Not the owners' fault, but Google Maps will send you the wrong way if you put "Casa Orchidea" in the navigator. Put in "Bar Simona Baila" and it will take you to the exact right parking spot.

Le voisin sur le balcon se croyant seul au monde et écoutant la TV à fond ou jouant à des jeux vidéos avec le son à fond sans aucun respect. J’ai mis du Mozart à fond en représailles mais cela n’a pas eu d’effet. AUCUN RESPECT.

Just perfect

We loved our stay at Casa Orchidea from beginning to end. Communication prior to arriving from Katia was great, we were then greeted by Giovanni on arrival who talked us through the apartment. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk, a bottle of wine, water, some breakfast items were included which was a lovely touch. The apartment has everything you could need and is very comfortable. The balcony with amazing views over the lake is the cherry on top. The apartment was spotless too.

The only thing that might put people off is that the apartment is directly above a small bar. This didn’t cause an issue for us, but there was some noise until around 11pm on the Friday evening.
