2 points pour l’emplacement et 2 points pour la personne très réactive derrière le numéro whatsapp. C’est tout.

Espace commun beaucoup trop petit pour le nombre de chambres. Porte qui fait du bruit et qui réveille tout le monde. Pas de rideau sur le lit du haut, sympa quand on est une femme dans un dortoirs d’hommes. 3 codes différents pour la porte d’entrée, la chambre et le casier qu’il faut retenir au risque d’être enfermée dehors ou de devoir prendre son téléphone pour aller aux toilettes. L’hostel n’est clairement pas fini, ce sont des murs et un sol de cave. Le propriétaire se fait tellement d’argent avec cet hostel miteux et sans payer de personnel… Impossible de dormir ici, entre les bruits de la porte à toute heure, la mosquée voisine, les gens qui respectent rien… Bref, j’ai adoré Georgetown mais cet hébergement a gâché l’expérience.

El trato con el personal, aunque no están presentes están 24/7 disponibles al teléfono y son de mucha ayuda! También está guay ya que interactúas mucho con la gente y puedes socializar.

Las camas están un poco gastadas y se hunden por la mitad. Por lo demás todo perfecto!

Best area near restaurants and safe to stay

Bed was a bit old and a bit hard for my taste

My final experience was horrific and completely overshadowed my past good ones at this hostel.

Room 2 has ants crawling on the walls and Bed 5 was infested with ants and dead bed bug found underneath the pillow. Property acknowledged the issue but provided zero solution. Once I pursued a refund, they fabricated damage claims that never existed, filed a police report, and shared false information about me in a local hostel network. 300rm Damage claims only appeared after I declined their refund terms and requested a clean bugles bed. Booking.com is currently investigating and will refund me if they don’t. Avoid.

Nothing during my final stay warranted a positive experience.

My bed was infested with ants & bed bugs. Staff provided no solution and I was forced to manage the infestation myself overnight. When I filed a complaint the property responded by making false damage claims against me that only appeared after I declined their refund. They filed a police report over a civil dispute and shared false information about me in a Penang hostel community group affecting my ability to secure future accommodation. Avoid this property!!!

Nice customer support via WhatsApp even though there is no reception. Good location and working AC

The mattresses should be renewed, as you lay in this weird sinkhole in the middle, with the rims going up 5 cm.
