Hostal Encanto Machupicchu

It’s located 5 minutes from the aguas calientes train station, you are surrounded by street vendors, markets and restaurants but far enough from the night life noise so it’s perfect to have a restful sleep. The facilities are a little old but it’s clean and it has all the basics for a comfortable stay while you wait for your visit to Machu Picchu. They allow you to leave your luggage before the check in and after the check out 🤙🏻 The water heater worked well and the water pressure was good that is very difficult to find in these accommodations. The beds are comfy and they provide heavy blankets so you can get a good and warm resting. The breakfast is very limited and it starts very early, if as us, you like to eat a proper breakfast before a packed day, you do have more options nearby, we went to the “La Boulangerie de París” that has great options for a very good price. The staff is very helpful and kind, during our stay was my friend’s birthday and they helped me to give her a surprise helping me keeping her presents and flowers, thanks to Erika that made that possible 🫶🏻

The check out is at 9 AM, so you should consider this to plan your day accordingly. They do have luggage storage available.

Cheguei do trem tarde por volta das 22hr, cansada louca para deitar em minha cama fiquei uns trinta minutos ou mais tentando passar cartão a máquina estava com defeito não passou nenhum dos três carões, eu sugeri que me descem a chave e no dia seguinte tentaríamos de novo e nada de passar, me senti coagida às duas funcionárias falando hum cartão dela não passa com coisa fosse meu problema, valor elevado para comer apenas pão com manteiga e um café solúvel, homens trabalhando numa obra ao lado barulho absurdo, agora wi fi super rápida boa

Nice clean room, has a table with two chairs, shower works fine. Nice personnel, hot water at the reception. Breakfast has juice, tea/coffee, fried eggs, bread and butter. Simple, but tasty.

Me gustó que estuviera muy céntrico y al lado de las piscinas termales. La habitación era muy espaciosa y cómoda, le entraba mucha luz ya que contaba con un balcón muy grande y cómodo también.

Desayuno ok y camas cómodas , ubicación buena.

Ruidoso , la ducha con problemas de regulación de temperatura . hervía o helada.
