Great location and phenomenal Hosts

Last week we stayed at the Plompeblad Guesthouse in Giethoorn and highly recommend the 1 Bedroom Cottage for its excellent location. Situated right on the waterway, it offered the best views each morning as we sat outside our front door, sipping coffee and watching the ducks and boats glide by. This guesthouse provided the perfect base to experience the charm of Giethoorn, with its picturesque boat-filled waterways, scenic footpaths, charming bridges, bicycle trails and centuries-old thatched-roof houses. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings made our stay truly memorable. If you are looking for the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the unique picturesque atmosphere of Giethoorn, the Plompeblad Guesthouse is the ideal choice

Personally, the only inconvenience was the fact that the bathroom is downstairs and the rest of the home (living, dining and kitchen) is upstairs. This was a bit inconvenient for both of us especially at night and also seeing as my husband had a knee surgery not too long ago. We were not aware of the layout of the home prior to booking this property as this was not mentioned on Booking.com so it caught us by surprise when we checked in! So, also bear in mind that you will have to carry your luggage upstairs.
