Loft Ahangama

Absolutely gorgeous location great restaurant for breakfast opposite in Ceylon Sliders, room is perfect for what you need. Ascetically pleasing, loved the rooftop and staff (Manu) was really friendly and helpful.

My only comment would be I think it would be a nice gesture if the hotel had some disposable ear plugs for guests as luckily we had some from our flight so it helped with blocking out the noise from the road.

The location is great (across from Ceylon sliders which was a good spot) and I found both the room and the property to be pleasant! Has everything I needed and was aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Good shower pressure (not a given in Sri Lanka). I liked the rooftop - great space to hang out, enjoy the view etc

Property is advertised as beachfront but is separated from the beach by a busy road. Wi Fi was patchy. The main disadvantage is that there is no door in the toilet and it is ridiculously close to the bed, perhaps 1m or so. I travelled alone so it didn’t bother me but if you are not solo i would not recommend

Best location. Loved the interiors — very clean rooms, fresh smell, and spacious too.

No parking (Provide a shade at least), no door for the toilet (if not for the shower area, at least provide a door for the WC), no curtains or blinds in the rooms. In the night, people outside can see everything inside when the light are on.

Super schön eingerichtet, tolle Lage. Personal super nett und hilfsbereit (durften zB nachts einchecken).

Für uns nicht schlimm, aber muss man sich bewusst sein: gibt keine Tür zum Bad / Dusche (:

Wow- incredible ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The most perfect location! Beach front, incredible views and a few steps from all restaurants, activities and necessities. The staff were beyond accommodating, helped us out with recommendations, taxis, anirport pick up and onward travel. Everyone was so genuinely kind and willing to care for us! Thank you for giving us such a positive first impression of Ahangama and a wonderful start to our travels in Sri Lanka. The rooms were so aesthetically pleasing, simply beautiful, and great aircon. They were exceptionally Clean and tidy too. The staff kindly welcomed me with a happy birthday decor too which was so touching. We would highly recommend The Loft to anyone! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Location

Rooms should have blackout curtains to keep the privacy of travellers. Electricity backup should be there.
